Shipping from New York to Florida. It's not even a heavy figure. I wrote him and told him I'd rather get a negative feedback than pay that much for shipping.

I didn't check out the shipping first. I won't make that mistake again.

while that's a little high, I've been VERY disapointed by shipping rates lately. We sent a rotocast wolverine, and a space ghost from NC to floride.. the actual shipping cost Priority mail usps? $10.50!

2 days ago, we shipped two of those small bratz kitty things to florida again.. we figured we'd try ups instead.. it still cost $8!

I bid on one item that I needed to finish up a mico machines collection of star wars vehicles.

The shipping should have only cost $5.50, but the guy was charging $12. I still went ahead and bid as the opening was only $1. Even with the ass-reaming shipping costs, it was still cheaper to bid and win that one than it was to bis on the one that had $4.50 shipping at it started bidding at $10.

Although, I can see if he is going down to a UPS store to have it packed and shipped that it would be that high. They charge for the box, the packing, the shipment, and then a surcharge for them to do it all.
